Fireman visit

Last Friday we were lucky enough to have a fire engine and some fire men come and see us at school. We even got a turn to hold the hose. It was so powerful!

 Look at all the protective gear he has to put on to keep him safe in a fire.

 The fireman set up 2 hoses and then turned them on. 

 We got to turn the hose on and off, and twist the nozzle to make the water spray different ways.

We even got to see the canon on the roof of the fire engine. That was so powerful it knocked a branch off a tree!
