Maui and the Sun
Last term our inquiry topic was Myths and Legends. We looked at lots of different myths and legends. We really enjoyed learning about Maui and we drew the sun from Maui and the Sun.
We practised first by drawing them in our inquiry books. We practised drawing the half sun and then a full circle to see which one we liked best.

Room 2's alphabet book
This term in Room 2 we have been practising our letter sounds. We know all of our letters and letter sounds now and we are starting to learn blends. We made a book to share our learning about letters and letter sounds.
Check, check, check it out!

Writing in Room 2!
Today we went to the sandpit to make sandcastles. We found out that patting wet sand was the best way to build a big sandcastle. Some of us worked with buddies and some of us worked by ourselves. Look at these pictures and let us know who you think has made the biggest sandcastle.
