What does Greedy Cat like?

This week we have been reading lots of books about Greedy Cat. Here the pictures and sentences that we drew. 

The big block of chocolate

In Room 2 this week we have been reading the story "The big block of chocolate." We have done lots of learning about sharing and how chocolate is made. We decided to make our own book with ourselves as the characters.

Princes and princesses

We made the crowns because we were learning the blend pr.
We got to choose either a prince or princess crown.
Now we are all Prince and princesses!

We're going to the Zoo! Room 2's Manaiakalani Film Festival movie 2015

We hope you all had an amazing time at the Manaiakalani Film festival! We sure did and we loved seeing the amazing movies on the big screen! Our movie is about going to the zoo and seeing all the animals. We hope you enjoy watching it and make sure to leave us some comments below!

School Values in Room 2

This week we developed this as a class so we know exactly how we display the school values in our classroom. We get stickers every time we are spotted doing one of these things and the first 2 people who fill up their football sticker gets to have a special lunch with Miss Nua.

Matariki wall display

At the end of last term we completed some of our amazing Matariki art work. Here are some pictures of the wall displays we have created.

Sorting shapes

Today in Room 2 we sorted shapes in to groups. We counted how many sides these shapes had and sorted them into groups.

Kids Can mufti day
